Moggy C. Yes love that word thespian ! The Cub ownership no problem, but I have always understood that this is the well known, local, actors Stearman … or has it had a change of colour ??? … Keith.

(And one of the bases where James Stewart was stationed).
And also Water Matthau I discovered today.
The Stearman and Cub have a current actor owner – obviously an airfield for thespians.

Thanks for the reply.
I have family in Felixstowe and spend a lot of time in the area, it’s not too far juding by the map.
The next time I’m over there, I’ll hire a car and do some exploring!

No question is silly, I guarantee there are lots of other people out there wanting the same answer ? Isn’t it so nice to share such things with the rest of the world … a coming together of knowledge … before it all dies away 🙂

Probably a silly question…just for confirmation…
This is the same “Old Bucs” airfield that was a B-24 base in the war?
(And one oi the bases where James Stewart was stationed).

I have made another quick visit to Old Buckenham, and rather than start a new thread I will add a couple of photos here …
I think there must be a reason these three aircraft were parked this way ?? Would anybody know ??
