After the disappointment of Saving Private Ryan (in particular the use of a character that was basically a coward named Upham) I was always hoping that after LOTRs that Jackson might make a film about Charles Upham. I mean there are already a few books he could base the script on. Must say I was a little disappointed he chose to do King Kong, though the preview I have seen has changed my mind about that…
