SEPTEMBER:
September, another month of spotting and the year is almost at his end….. Having still contact with my former Asiana Airlines colleagues I was informed that Asiana Cargo will withdraw their freighter service from Schiphol Amsterdam. This was a moment where you can see how hard the Aviation Business really is. All staff members where suddenly unemployed and needed to find another job. Luckily they all prepared themselves well. Later they invited me to have a look in Schiphol tower, this was a thing I wanted to do for a long time!

One of my last shots of this beauty . The Surinam Boeing 747-300 is retired from service and is replaced by a leased Airbus A340-300, This was the last 747 classic service on Schiphol. The 747 will fly freighter services in Africa! (luckily they keep it flying)
