Another day and another mini meet at LHR – this time with T5 (Michael).
The weather today (well – sunds out today, but ths morning) was terrible! Overcast with that very annoying fine rain.
Met up with Michael around 10am and headed to Myrlte Avenue. By 12:30 my battery gave out – i should have charged it really the night before. :p At 2pm we called it a day, as the weather took yet another turn for the worse and traffic had slowed down a considerable amount.
The best thing of the day for me had to be the World Airways MD-11, In a Delta basic livery, operating for BWIA.. 🙂
Heres the offerings from today anyhow – just look at the first shot – how dark and overcast is was!
Enjoy! (More if wanted. :))

Thank You for all your comments guys – its appreciated. 🙂
Airband i use a Canon 300D with a sigma F4 50-500mm Lens. Tuesday was the first time that i had taken it out in bad weather. So im getting to grips with it still, in my own slow way. :p
Michael – some excellent shots from you, and your video is cool – love the music! :D:D LOL …. nice touch. 🙂

That is damn good quality video, for a reletively cheap camera!
I thought it was done with a good quality camcorder!

Thanks guys! 🙂
Unfortunately, I’d need a little while to save up for a DSLR and so, at the moment, I’m using a new-ish Fuji FinePix S5100. I bought it a few months back for just £195. It was a real bargain considering it has 10x optical zoom and 4.0megapixels. And surprisingly, the video is taken using the same camera.
I couldn’t quite master it in such murky conditions and so, most of my photos from the day are quite blurred.

Nice shots despite the weather
By: T5 - 24th May 2005 at 22:50
Excellent shots, Andy 🙂
Unfortunately, was a terrible few hours for me! Of the 80 or so photos that I took, only 13 are worth showing to you all. Even most of these are very grainy. I don’t think my slightly better spec, new digital camera likes the wet weather or the clouds too much!
I’ve put them on my online gallery at http://www.web-wings.co.uk/gallery/

Nice ones Andy, can never get enough of the 777’s (especially North American ones….UA, AA etc). I’ll try and get myself down to LHR with the new equipment next week sometime.

More shots.
I think my fave shots today must be the 767 in the “moody lighting” 🙂
Enjoy!
