It was a busy morning for Manch ATC. Thomas Cook B757 made an emergency diversion due to a decompression problem, then whilst on a long downwind leg to avoid weather he suffered a lightning strike. Everything else was put in the holds while he landed safely. Just after this the runway flooded and the holding aircraft had an indefinite wait. BA A320 and Brussels B146 went to LPL, a LH B737 almost went to BHX but managed to get in MAN. Just as the backlog was almost clear, another Thomas Cook B757 made an emergeny divert with only 1 engine!! 😮
Inbetween the excitement I ‘graphed the following.

Later that afternoon I popped over to Liverpool.
