Was planning to go to the vintage flying weekend but as it was pooring with rain decided in my first trip to Bristol for many years. First tip don’t follow the signs from the M5 it takes ages, come off at Clevedon and go on the back roards.
Firstly headed for the new(to me) terminal. There is a cafe on the 1st floor which is ok for spotting but not for photos, see the CO 757. There was a lot of biz traffic from Europe for the cup final.
Got bored ad headed for the permiter.By turning left, left again and left after cargo it takes you to a good spot near the flying club. Was into sun but it was more the clouds and thunder storms that posed the problem for photos.
Had a very nice supprise when a C560XL landed in a downpoor and was….4X-CPU 😀 ,

Pity there is no airbridge for that CO 757! I’d hate to come all the way from the US for a holiday here, and starting off your hols by having to walk off an aircraft into the teeming rain!
Great pics btw!
