Boy loses arms, leg, in basketball accident!

Did you hear about that incredible accident a kid had in Australia on Saturday?

He was shooting hoops in front of a car shed (garage) and he apparently grabbed the hoop as he dunked the ball. The hoop gave way, along with the she’d brick wall and a large metal support. The wall collapsed onto him and both his arms and one lower leg were severed! 😮

For the first time ever, three sepearate surgical teams worked on a patient to reattach limbs. They attached one each, and according to today’s news, they expect a full recovery. What an amazing freak accident, and an amazing rescue by the hospital team.
