Indeed, but how does Flex know that STRJ (That hasnt even flown out of LBA much this summer yet), is unreliable? AEU flights back on time incidentally, unlike at MAN where they are having delay after delay.

Seeing as it must be a W pattern, maybe the aircraft is coming back in with a Tech problem, or maybe the crew are out of hours or they couldn’t position the outbound crew to LBA in time to operate it.
With a W pattern, there are 2 sets of crews who both end up positioning by coach at each end of the flight. Crew duty time is taken from the moment they check-in at MAN, continues whilst on the coach and on the flight so could be they’re out of hours for some reason.

733s arent always unreliable, Jet2 use 733s, plus we have also had the 73G and 752 operating out of LBA.
