FlyGlobespan selling GLA/EDI-STN during Winter??

Flyglobespan are selling flights for GLA/EDI-STN though to December 2005

I thought that they were going to change to LGW after October, have these plans been dropped??

It could have been possible that they didn’t get slots?

I could see the logic in retaining EDI-STN (only one competitor on the route) but I think GSM would still be better switching the GLA flights to LGW if they can get hold of the slots. Only BA to compete with on this route, after all.

I thought they already had the slots for LGW. Obviously not for when they planned, looks like they might do for early next year though. I agree, if they want to serve London, EDI-STN and GLA-LGW is the best way to go about it.

I found it quite starange that they were starting STN and changing to LGW. That almost as crazy as the airline who planned to start with 737 and switch to A320s. Why not start as you mean to go on???

I think the LGW rumour was nothing more than speculation, I dont know where it came from as was never formally announced or even suggested. I can only guess where it may have originated from. I am therefore not surprised by STN remaining as the London route.
I see some of the GLA routes I checked, ie TFS and ALC remain daily until at least Jan 2006. I feel some combined routes coming on nearer the time though.

I noticed this earlier, not sure what the situation is with LGW.
EDI-STN is actually bookable through to the end of January.
