TRIP ON ATP

Hi,

Does anybody fancy a trip on an ATP to from GLA to ABZ, or anywhere else that is interesting. I was planning to go on the 29th May for the Day. Price is around £115 return incl tax.

Wouldn’t mind going on one as before they go…..

Save your money. For only a few pounds more, you can get onto a Twin Otter from Glasgow to Barra.

I know which I’d prefer 🙂

ATPs are dreadful aeroplanes – take it from one who has done 97 passenger flights on the type and who has no desire to go on one again! Good luck with your trip – hope it doesn’t go tech!

I’d love a shot of the oddball… alas the bank seems not to agree to let me have 115 of our noble £

I feel I’ve missed it, since I’ve flown in the Shorts 360, Jetstream 41 and 31, SAAB 340. I’ve been in the Islander but not flown in it, the Otter is on my cards, so it leaves the ATP.

Typical over priced BA flights as always. £115 is a heafty price for lets say a 30 min flight on a ATP which are not the nicest of aircraft to fly on.

Ah, cheers for that. I’ll check it out.

Something in me wants it to be a BA livery though

Would probably be cheaper to fly GLA-LPL on FlyBes Dash 8-Q400 then LPL-IOM return on Emeralds ATPs on a day trip – 2 types, 4 flights! Thats once the flybes go 2x daily next month!
