Well it appears that this sorry tale has taken yet another twist; the Saudi Government haven’t actually granted permission to BMI to operate these flights..http://www.airliners.net/discussions/general_aviation/read.main/2114656/
I have watched BMI over the past year and have to say(in agreement with alot of other posts on various sites) that their choice of routes and the way they operate them raises more than a few questions..

Get sorted bmi 🙂
LOL i’ve been saying that for a few years now 😀
Bravo Mike cannot just sit on the tarmac for 3 days, everyweek, and i’ve been hearing TF-FII has been having tech troubles, so you never know, might do an early run-up to MAN, and to IAD….Wishful thinking

They are a very lucky airline. If any other airline had made the mistakes they have made they may well be on the pile with Sabena and Swissair.

Another great chapter in the life of bmi, will the 330 go back on the MAN-IAD route for the 3 days it will now be doing nothing?
Its a shame, i want to see bmi do well, we are very lucky to have them at LBA, not many regional airports have such a strong presence from a ‘full service’ carrier.
Get sorted bmi 🙂
