MYT A330 lower deck

Came across this pic.

Looks a bit cheap and nasty to me. I would have thought perhaps they would have made a feature of this

it is a good area quite big and there was a cabin crew guy down there saying if they were full and then you just sat on the bench and waited. you have to watch the stairs though as they are small and quite a sharp turn i and several others fell down them.

From my experience on the MYT A330 i thought that it was an excellent use of space and a scene change at 35,000ft.

Its not like you are going to be in there for the whole flight, 5 minutes at most each time.

You would think so, but sometimes its the same old faces that are up and down the whole flight.

Also the wall says “No Entry Crew Only”. How do they get in with those seats in the way? Climb over? Surly H&S issues there

When i 1st seen the pic i thaught that was a wall with the doors drawn on to give effect of opening to the sky lol.

From my experience it’s a public area and to the right of that shot are another three public toilet cubicles.

Try this link: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/784979/L

It does look quite cheap and nasty. But i didnt expect them to do much with the crew rest area…
