I have just read that Elvis has got the number one record in this weeks chart with Jail house rock, Despite being dead(or Not depending on what you believe) for 19 years he is still able to fill the top slot against all the pop idol style crap and boy bands which to me is great but also shows the lack of new talent in the chart these days. You don’t need to sell many records these days and its my guess last time he got there with the same song that he probably sold at least twice the Amount of records he will sell this time.
His fans wanted him to be number one on the weekend nearest his birthday which is great in my view but also shows the charts can easily be massaged call me a cynic if you like.
