US visas

I’m hoping to go to Hawaii this Easter, but am not sure on the rules that concern having visas etc? I will be there for around 10 nights, can anyone tell me what I may need to have or need to know?

Also anyone that has been to Hawaii, would you recommend Waikiki beach (near Honolulu)?
