Why I will not post on GD anymore

Since a few weeks (month) the GD has become boring.
A very few threads are really interesting and the rest of the forum has turned into a kind of chat room.
A very limited number of members consider this place has their “own place” and many thread such as ” Bubble wrap -the poll” , “Death match” etc have appeared.
Many of us have tried to start discussion threads which are almost everytimes polluted by off topic little private chats between of few members. I dared once to mention that one of the discussion was off topic and I have been insulted by one of the members. I have reported this to the mod who did …. nothing.

Maybe that’s just personnal feelings or maybe other members feel the same.
I will from today focus on the commercial aviation forum and I really feel sorry that that such a good discussion forum has been turned into a boring place.

I don’t want this thread to be a flamming one , I just wanted to share my feelings.
If I’m the only one concerned it makes sense that I’m the only one to withdraw, it sounds to me as “good democracy”.
