Took a small trip inbetween revision today to go up to Luton and see the new El Al 762 service from Tel Aviv after the airline recently switched services from Stansted. It was great to see a 76 at Luton again in the knowledge it is a regular but typically the weather didn’t play ball! The morning was nice and sunny but unfortunately the flight was running 2 hours late and low and behold the cloud came for the new arrival time and of course an hour afterwards it had turned sunny again:rolleyes:
Been paying more attention to the histogram with this set so would like to find out how they look?
This jeep came and sat in front of the crash gate for El Al’s arrival and the jet got its own ‘follow me’ jeep.
Cheers, Huw:)

Paul, but the colours are as they were in the actual conditions.
You’ll never get anywhere or learn anything with an attitude like that, Mr Hopkins! 😀

They look very good indeed! The exposure/contrast on all is excellent. They could possibly benefit from a slight kick of saturation to give them a bit more punch but that’s subjective really. I find the crops a little too tight; there’s no space for the subject to ‘breathe’ but that’s also subjective and is purely an opinion.
Again, the general quality, subjective bits aside is very good indeed. Nice work!

Great shots, Huw, despite the cloud!
Andrew – I suspect that El Al have moved to LTN following hikes in fees at STN. The exodus list of airlines from STN is becoming longer by the day!
Fees have been increasing at STN for some time, though following the recent findings and recommendations of the Competition Commission (that BAA should sell STN), the cynic in me suspects that BAA is doing what it can to surpress new growth at STN, thus devaluing the STN operation, and in two years time hopes to report that it has failed to find a willing bidder…
Time will tell!
