Travel Insurance?

Hi,

I’m all set for my trip next Friday, but am a little baffled with regard to Travel Insurance.

I have an annual policy for me and my posessions, but I’m going to be carrying £4,000 worth of camera equipment as well. This equipment doesn’t belong to me either.

I need to insure it, but do not want to put it on the house insurance like all these companies keep suggesting.

The quotes vary from £97 to £184 so far, but its still a little on the expensive side for a student like myself.

I’ve been told not to pay more than £50 for it. A fair sum when you consider I need the insurance for a mere 4 days.

Does anyone know any companies that might be able to help (in the UK) at a price that I can afford?
