Hi all. Took a rather spur of the moment visit to Myrtle Ave yesterday and I’m rather glad I did. Here are the highlights of my visit after a quick edit. As always, I welcome comments etc…
Enjoy

Love the Arik A340(have to say i have never even heard of the airline:o).
Cheers.
I too hadn’t heard of them before I checked the timetable the night before. I think it was a bit of a lucky capture as IIRC it was scheduled for after 3pm, but I’m not complaining – it’s a lovely looking ‘craft.

Nice shots mate. I was also at Myrtle Avenue yesterday with my friends Bryn and Tom.
Must say the sun was nice but that wind was abit cold at times.

Great shots! 🙂 The 747 does look like Lufthansa, what with the grey engines and the grey belly.
I don’t suppose anybody got up to Heathrow on Wednesday did they? My parents flew out on a Qatar Airways A330-300 at 7.55am and I’d love to see any snaps.

It looks like the same one my friend Bryn took a photo of around the same time and we concluded it was an LH B744.

Thanks guys.
Any guesses on what the plane in the overflight picture is? I was thinking something like a Lufthansa B747. Image was taken at 11:45 if that helps.

They’re all good, but that UAL B777 is an absolute corker! 🙂
I was thinking the same about the ANA 777, but then again I would say that! 😀
Very nice work indeed, Tom. Nice to see you posting. Thanks for sharing!
