I thought moderation was the job of the moderators?
Yes, back on topic. My apologies, Barry!

A couple of great shots of an airline we don’t see very often on this forum!
I was more thinking we shot it the first time we went to Madeira. You can see who’s the optimist in this duo, can’t you? 😀

Seems we pressed the shutter release at almost exactly the same time. Then again, what’s new?! 🙂

It does but my last memory of it was looking at it through a window as I departed FNC – Bad Times.

Spalds, you do recognise that aircraft don’t you? It has a certain special significance for both of us! 🙂

Thanks for the info Barry, I always wondered about photographic locations at EXT – They seem very far and few between.

Nice shots, Barry. Having a small lens can certainly have its uses. My 18-55 kit lens has poked its way through many an airport fence!

I simply stopped the car (hazard warning lights on!) on the road along the fence before you get to the terminal and got pic thro the fence and from the nearby crash gate thro’ the fence using a combination of SLR and bridge compact both with lenses small diameter enough for the purpose!
I had the advantage of knowing from the local Exeter Yahoo group (Runway 26) where it was parked and had cameras on my lap so I wasn’t stationary too long.
To be fair,it’s just possible to get off the road into muddy inlets in a couple of places.

Nice one Barry,
If you don’t mind me asking, where did you go to get photos at EXT airport?
Cheers
