A380 architecture

A lot have been written so far about the A380. However I was wondering:
As all know the beast is a wide body ‘( actually XXXL).

Do you think folk that the Beluga data helped Airbus in the A380 design?

There is a definite possibility Airbus engineers would have used the Beluga’s performance and aerodynamics parameters as they moved forward with the A380’s development. At least, it would have given them an idea of how a large aircraft handled while in flight.
