Webmaster: moderators and sub forums

From the new, but closed, sticky that appeared today/yesterday are we to assume that moderators have been appointed?
I ask since it has been over two months since the poll, which nearly all forum members could take part in, closed and from what I remember there was mention on that that moderators would be appointed about a week later; subsequently in a private message to me, just a few weeks later, you said that they would be appointed shortly, after the conditions had been sorted out. Somewhere along the line the number of appointed moderators went from two to three – which have not publically appeared eitherway.
I feel that now is the time to ask, please, what is happening.
The addition of several sub forums might be seen as an opportunity to appoint more moderators – would this be the case?

In addition (again) can you define some of the qualifications given on the sticky. I realise that most of what I answer is complete rubbish but I – and lots of others, I don’t doubt – would like to know what is and is not expected. Most of the threads I have replied to recently have been what might be described as silly, but through such ‘silly’ posts we have drawn people in and learnt much about them. Most of the threads I have personally posted recently have had a serious side to them but, for the most part have disappeared mostly unnoticed and fairly quickly.
Silly threads that might appear to be chat room material but draw people in and make them think, or serious threads that garner few replies and have no (apparent) interest to anybody? Got some good recipes from a silly thread, you know…

On a different note the only addition to the sub forums that I can think of would be a photography one – for aircraft, aviation, and aviation people. You could base it on any one of the main forums since images seem to be posted on all of them but personally I think discussion would be the place to ‘discuss’ them. And it should also encompass the taking of images, the posting of images, etc.
I did notice that ‘the legal right to post’ images was mentioned. Does this mean that the posting of images from places like Airliners.net (or whatever it is called) will no longer be tolerated from a copyright point of view?
