The keymag forums currently have 4,795 members listed, but looking through the list some 1,630 (about 34%) of them have NEVER posted a thing. I wonder, is this taking up space for the forums and slowing things down?
I mean each one of those non-participating members has a profile. Is it time for a purge Webmaster?
The number of members that have made just ONE or TWO posts but are now dormant is also large.

Good idea, they should have to post so many per month or be evicted, just like Big Brother
What – something like 100+ a week, do you mean? Then we’d all be Flood and he’d be slacking!!! – Nermal

But on a purely technical level wouldn’t the deleting of inactive profiles free up memory/bandwidth for the server and speed things up for the rest of us?

Leave them be. Some people find posting on the forum a very intimidating prospect, I lurked for a long time before making a post.
And look at the quality since then, maybe you should have lurked longer !!!:D
