It’s six years tomorrow since making the change from a Canon EOS300 to a Canon D30, a snip at a mere GBP900 second hand! The lens was a Canon 28-200 that I bought for the EOS300 in summer 2000.

The ones I’ve uploaded are mostly the kind of stuff we don’t get anymore such as the BA world tails and BMI 737s etc.

3MP and still miles better than a 10MP phone camera!
I cut my digital teeth on the D30 and even at 3MP it still produces top drawer images in the right hands, you can have all the MP you want but if you don’t know how to compose, expose and edit a picture you may as well not bother.
I couldn’t agree more, but then again, you already knew that! 🙂

Nice images, Matt! I’ve actually thought about getting a D30 just for the fun of it. They can be found on ebay going pretty cheap occasionally and I’ve been tempted a few times. It would be quite interesting shooting with a 3MP DSLR!
