Is it me or are the motorways absolutely filthy?!
There is litter across the central reservations and the grass verge, uck, it’s a disgrace! For the 4th richest nation on the planet and the 2nd richest in Europe England deserves clean motorways.
They also need resurfacing because they are so worn and tatty looking.

Hey – that is what road tax is for!
And the tax on fuel, maybe?
So if the proper authorities are not using the money for resurfacing – assuming that local authorities are not keeping the highways and byeways clean – then what are they spending the money on…?;)
