Here in Jersey we have Kippers freshly caught from the Atlantic, ready smoked.
Where in the Atlantic do they smoke ’em ? 😀

Apparently John (Two Jags) Prescott likes kippers as well, at least that’s what he told the reporter on TV the other night when he was caught in a Oyster shop, supposedly plotting against Tony.
Strange fellow.

Steve, you need help. However long the queue is, you need to talk to a professional.

What you want is a nice Arbroath Smokie ! 😀
Yes, very tasty, but a lot more expensive than kippers

Bah. I live in Lowestoft, where we have proper kippers – smoked with smoke and without the chemical-colouring seen in your first photo. I buy mine from the oldest smokehouse in town – I forget how many hundreds of years old it is. Think I might get some for tonigfht and pop them on the barbie – cheers Steve!
