Any Further Ifo Needed.

I have a model (Meccano, Dinky) depicting a Silver Coloured Mk 2 Spit, mounted on a Green Onyx?? plinth that states it Commemorates the 50th Anniv of the RAF. Does anybody out there have any further info ref this or does anybody know where I can contact for this info.
