plawolf: re Starship troopers 2

Hey plawolf,

Here’s me review- it’s pretty horrible, not even worth renting for a night. Although, they do seem to have new weapons (their guns look like FN-2000s and aren’t quite as wimpy as the old Moritas) that fire blue strobe lights. The basic premise- MI troopers surrounded by bugs, retreat into outpost where they proceed to fend off bugs, have sex, and get on each other’s nerves, when a secret bug infestation gets into the outpost. It’s pretty low budget and it shows since they spend most of their time in this darkened outpost, a la John Carpenter’s The Thing.

My suggestion- go rewatch the original SST.
