What’s exactly changing? In Belgium we also change to the Bachelar-master-system. Is it something similar?! Anyway, it’s better to change it to international standards, because for a Belgian student finding a job in France or the US will be a lot easier.

the ‘it’ i was refering to was the new gov plan, not the GCSE as it stands. i suposed u also thought the rest of my post was an argument in support of the old system cos i like wasting my time.:rolleyes:

whats wrong with it? :confused: i wasted two years at GCSE doing dumbafied maths even at top set, and its put me off maths and science completely. i think its a good idea.
