Monarch Emergancy Photos

Hey all,
popped to the airport before to try night shots with my new camera. I went on the crew bus with my brother and his freind. After a while, we noticed some emergancy service vehicles, and then a Monarch A320 taxiing pretty fast! On the Crew bus back, Dan saw the Pilot who flew him to Goa, so he asked what happened and he said a there was a passenger that had a Diebetic coma! Here are some pics:

1. Tail of Thomas cook B757-200
2. Look at the effects on that runway! 😮
3. 2 Jet2 B733s and a Ryanair ‘Hertz’ B732M
4. Air Malta Airbus A320
5. Monarch A320 Emergancy 1
6. Monarch A320 Emergancy 2

🙂

Some nice shots there Matt.

All you need to remember for night/dusk shots, is that if your camera is on auto mode, then it will set a slower shutter speed. This keeps the shutter open for longer, to allow more light to get in. When this is the case you’ll find you need to hold the camera dead-still for clear shots (preferably using a tripod, or leaning the camera on a wall etc). Holding it by hand will often move the camera and cause the shots to become blurry, or certainly not as sharp as they could be.
