its like an aviation version of trivial pursuit.. problem is i dont have the rules with it… no makers name on the box.. judging by the questions its from the late 80’s/early 90’s..

anyone out there got this?

I’ve done a search via google of some games collector sites but no sing of it..

Um… Sorry – started looking for answers, started downloading some skins for Flight Simulator whilst looking for the B747-123 question, then some how ended up reading Peter Kilduff’s biog of Richthofen and trying to work out which type was most used, and finally got confused over the first female parachutist!
My answers (for what they are worth…):-

1/ Long range passenger transport (quite possibly wrong – since several airlines apparently used this sub-type…!)

2/ Nimrod AEW3

3/ Yeovilton

4/ Albatros

5/ Jeanne-Genevieve Garnerin – the first woman parachutist 1798… See this website (with added hi-lites!)!

As you can see I have had to go back and confirm this last one, but what the hell!

It has been quiet this weekend, so post some more – and maybe someone will be able to enlighten you too!

it seems to be mostly picture questions, which doesn’t quite work here but there is one set of questions, but not multiple choice.. theres a board that comes thats set up like an airfield circuit which you have to complete then go on to ‘finals’ etc and land.. presumably by answering questions correctly?

anyway, sample questions…looks like on each card you have a choice of a question on civil a/c, military a/c, ‘general knowledge’?, military aviation history, and civil aviation history…

1) for what purpose was the boeing 747-123 designed for.

2) what a/c project did UK secretary of state George Younger cancel in 1986

3) where is the fleet arm arm museum

4) in which a/c did baron von richthofen score most of his victories

5) in what decade was the first parachute descent by a woman.

now that some of you are back from the pub i expect some interesting answers..

and remember I’ll have to take the answers I have here on the card… and its just for fun… nothing for a pair – not in this game.. what do points make?….. bernie – the bolt…

answers tomorrow…

Could just ignore it, of course…

Is this game exactly like Trivial Pursuit? Could you not utilise the same rule?
For fun (for us) why not post some of the questions and the choice of answers? It would occupy an evening and might even banal enough to upset Rappens…;)
