Well, quite frequently used to get told that I looked like Johnny Depp… could be worse I suppose!
Oh, 10 years ago it was Chesney flippin Hawks, NOT amused!

Watch out tomorrow night, yours truely is on the box in Velvet Goldmine (CH4)…eeek! fortunately most of what was shot didn’t even pass the censor for the cinema release, there’s even less in the TV and DVD versions.

Yes, I had a strange feeling when I posted it…I knew the original title was something else and not “El Francotirador”, which is the way they “dubbed” the title when running the (edited and shortened) film on local TV.

A bit confusing also, cause there is a french film with JP Belmondo, me thinks, called “The Sharpshooter”, on the same great line of movies as The Marginal, and The Professional.

The Deer Hunter, great movie indeed. I later watched it again in english, but didn’t dig the title.

Bob ‘bleeding’ Hoskins. Well it is good to talk and its better than my younger brother (like a tall Danny Baker or a thin(ish) Phil Jupitus) and one of my older brothers who looks a bit like Mick Aston off the ‘Time Team’. My oldest brother looks like my mum.
