Thanks for the info on the subs. Just to update the info above –

National Guard

enlisted personnel – 2850
conscription personnel – 11000

These figures do not represnt that of the KSA (Kybriaki Stratioki Aeroporia) or the Cyprus Navy, both of which were supposed to have been classified till a couple of years ago, when both services achieved independent status.

Best estimate on the Cyprus Navy is 700-850 men, though the number of officers is not known.
