Ok – what will you be eating for your Christmas Dinner?

Anybody love sprouts? Tradional Christmas Pudding?
Or just a bowl of museli for you?:D

Interesting prog on Radio 4 today – 13:30ish – which showed that there are wild bore in Britain. Apparently 15 people injured and 2 killed in one village in France by wild bore in just a few years (didn’t hear the length of time – driving I was!), and these beast have escaped into the wild here! 4 foot at the shoulder! Charging Land Rovers and all that!
Keep away from the piggies!!!

Beetroot? How? Why?

I forgot the piockled walnuts with the cheese. Thank God for rehearsals.

And, you cheeky bugger, I don’t get rolled to bed. I just fall asleep in front of the fire with a dog sitting on my back, a crushed and ripped hat stuck on my bald head, gravy on my shirt and beer on me trousers. That’s the tradition.

Prawn cocktail starter .

Turkey , roast potatoes , chipolata sausages wrapped in bacon , mashed potatoes , bread sauce , cranberry jelly , beetroot , chestnut stuffing.

Cheeseboard .

Sherry trifle .

All at me mum and dads place . Dinner served at 3 o’clock then another round at 6 o’clock . Lots of Sambuca , Sherry and Port all day.

Then repeat the whole lot with reheats on Boxing Day.

Can’t beat mums Christmas dinner. 🙂
