Having been (very occasionally) on the Modern Military forum I think the vast majority could do with being referred to a head doctor. When someone very kindly put – for a laugh – put a thread on there, after I had asked a question tongue in cheek, about a dogfight between a Sopwith Camel and the F-18 too many took it seriously! Stitches across the forehead, mate!

What i mean is that people posting in the AFM should be prescribed to AFM magazine not from thier doctor but from pusblishing co.

See how many publications Key produce? How do you think the readers of Bowls International feel? It is not just AFM. How many of the others do you read? On and off I read at least four of the ones there (not Bowls International).
Prescribed? You get AFM on prescription? From your Doctor? Oh well…

I’m just trying to make a point after you suggested that non-key publishing customers should not use the forum, which seemed aimed at me. However I am a customer.

I purchase every airliner world magazine and have an interest in commercial aviation however I read and rarely post on the forum.

Yeah thats good but its doesnt mean were going to be taking cold showers together.

here that dont read the magazine but just use up bandwidth, only people who have prescribed to AFM should be allowed to post. 😀

So will the resistance being coming on with different names? Say 1v dialleH, for example?

It all started a year or two ago when I gave a mate, Adam a link to the forum so he could read some posts which had jokes/humorous things on it.

He then decided to register as a member with username ‘hellaid’, named so because of his real name (Adam Hellier).

At the time he regestered, a different type of forum software was being used which featured a system where users could rate other users a certian amount of points depending on the quality of their posts. Obviosly a new member would have to establish themselves within the forum to gain these points and the ratings system was not to be taken too seriously.

However, after about one post from hellaid which was written in ‘txt’ style he then started posting offensive messages along the lines of “y aint u f****** ratin me positiv u load of b@st****…”

People then tryed to explain to him that not everyone is going to suddenly start positivley rating him as soon a he joins the forum but then he posted a topic threatening other users that if they didn’t positivley rate him, he would then negitivley rate them.

So while the ratings system was quite light hearted, understandbly some users contributed amazingly to the forum and had built up a great collection of positive ratings. Therefore, when Adam started ploughing through the users negitivley rating them, they wern’t too happy.

This action by hellaid led to the blocking of his username and so adam created more usernames and continued to terrorise this forum – creating more usernames as they were blocked (eg hellaid V2, hellaid V3 etc)

Eventually he laid off and disapeared until the resistance team was started this month. Of course, this triggered Adam to start posting but he has improved slightly his english and the content of his posts. The current ‘real hellaid’s username is ‘hellaid2’.

Today, the whole resistance has been taken off the forum and helliad remains.

The person behind Hellaid V4 remains a mystery to us and none of my mates behind the resistance have admitted to being him.

Hellaid V4 – PLEASE REVEAL YOURSELF!!! 😀 :p 😉 😀 :p
