Manchester UEFA Cup action 13/14th May 2008

Hi all,

Some more shots from Manchester before last night’s UEFA Cup final game at the City of Manchester Stadium.

First off, Transaero’s B747 VP-BQC arriving on the 13th, one of several shuttles that she did back and forth to MAN –

And then here she is arriving again early on the 14th –

With a vast number of photographer’s gathering on the south side, I headed round to the approach in an attempt to get a slightly different shot to everyone else… only to find folk out absolutely everywhere! I’ve never seen so many people out! Nevertheless, it was approach shots for the rest of the morning, with the bulk of the airliner traffic arriving over lunchtime –
