EMA 14th May 2008

Went up there late yesterday evening to see what the aid flight was, after seeing it on Central News. It turned out to be the Gemini DC-10 :).

The Green + Blue Boxes you see on pallets to the rear of the aircraft are the shelterboxes provided by the Rotary Club Charity in the UK.

And the Gemini was chartered out through DHL to supply these shelterboxes to Burma.

And Dan, these are the scheduled cargo flights that we have into EMA almost Daily:

DLH8281 Airborne Airpark (KILN) to EMA 05:52p GMT
GEC8281 MD11 Airborne Airpark (KILN) to EMA 05:52p GMT
UPS237 B763 Philadelphia Intl (KPHL) to EMA 07:09p GMT

and we get anothr MD-11F from somewhere in europe normally Leipzig which arrives after the flight from KILN.

This is a good website for stuff about EMA’s Cargo Operations:

Very nice! Looks like some good catches there. The Lufty MD-11 is scheduled, right? When is it ususally in? I hope to plan a trip up to EMA around that in the summer.
