Technology has helped to make life that little bit easier, to enable us to communicate with one another more speedily and to operate machines of the ‘ol industrial powerhouses much more efficiently. We all know the benefits of the internet but I raise the point of the 2 schools of thought, the pros & cons of the Internet…..some people claim it creates social misfits who prefer to spend their time hunched over computer terminals to the detriment of their personal relationships or for those who to choose to go online to foster friendships from afar and use it as a tool of knowledge.
I know some people and friends of mine who can happily spend up to 5-6 hours a day sitting at their desk surfing the net for recreational purposes (or say they tell me 🙂 ) with total disregard to their health and peace of mind whilst at the same time be totally oblivious to what they are doing. We say to do things you enjoy in moderation and that can ring true for this purpose but to spend hours & hours on the net playing computer games with geeks you’ve never met and have no life is truly sad, how many hours a day do you spend online??, has it affected your social life??
How do you see the internet and what it has done for social evolution?
thanx

Good post M8,
Well I don’t spend every hour on the Net unlike a few people I know most days its just one hour after work maybe 2 if I add an update to my site.
However on Sunday nights I spend good few hours on the net working on my website and reading other sites and forums etc.
