Rumours are abound ladies and gents that various idiots in Britains various cities are planning to:
1). Ban Santa from Birmingham City Centre ‘cos it might upset ethnic minorities.
2). Ban Oxfam from displaying Christmas decorations in the window, cos it might upset ethnic minorities.
3). Re-name Christmas, ‘cos it might upset ethnic minorities.
Don’t know about u but I find this nothing short of idiotic. I have a lot of minority friends who brought these details to my attention and thought it was meant to be a joke of some discription….try though they might they couldn’t find the punch line. :rolleyes:
I don’t remember anyone saying we should ban Eid ‘cos is might upset the Christians, do u??? 🙁 :confused: 🙂

Alex we have heard this before in Birmingham and such a stink was kicked up about it they backed down. The same will happen everytime Albert Bore tries to shove his own view of what is right and proper onto Brummies without taking into account what Brummies actually think. He thinks it is some kind of dictatorship.

Instead of Santa Clause coming with Christmas, we have Sinterklaas coming the 4th and/or 5th of December. Instead of Elves he has black servants.
Some people seem to think this tradition (centuries old, older even than Santa) insults immigrants and therefore want to make the black servants white.
