Had a few interesting visitors to my local airport, so been to Eindhoven three times this week. I am so happy that summertime has started again so I can pop into the airport after work without a need for nigh vision goggles.
All photos shot with the 30D and Sigma 70-200 2.8.
Last time that this Fokker 50 cargo plane flew (scheduled) to Eindhoven. From last tuesday the flight is re-routed through Maastricht. Eindhoven closes earlier then Maastricht. Apparantly Anapola Flyg suffered quite a bit from delays in getting cargo to the airport, thereby missing it’s take-off slot. This is the first of only two F50 cargo planes in existance. The company that owns these planes has another 5 on order. KLM Cityhopper has retired PH-KVC and is preparing it now for conversion. KLM Cityhopper’s PH-KVD will follow as well. Don’t know about the other 3 planes to be converted.
One of two “Canjet” B737s that flew into Eindhoven last week. Did not manage to see the other one though. Both planes visited the paintshop and are now flying for Travel Service.
Another visitor for the paintshop was this Cimber Air ATR that was returned from a long-term lease to Oman Air. Previously A40-AM, unfortunately it came in with OY-registration and no titles.
Sub-lease on the Corendon flight.
New addition to the Solid Air fleet. Sorry for the people in front of it. Waited for 15 minutes for them to leave, and could not be bothered waiting longer.

Owned by Miniliner (Italy) but for the time being leased to and operated by Amapola Flyg (Sweden).
To make matters more interesting, the livery of the plane is actually MagicBird´s. MagicBird went bankrupt just after the first F50-F was delivered due to delays with the cargo conversion.
I’ve seen your Messerschmidt photos. But that’s a Me-108 or its French copy. Not a Me-109. I especially liked the black/white photo.
Cheers Pieter. I’ve seen MagicBird somewhere before thats what was bugging me, never knew they went under tho…
You are quite correct it is an ME 108 typo on my part, well it is a Nord 1005, ME108 replica the engine sounds kind of “normal” not warbirdy sound if you know what i mean.
