Nothing too extravagant, I’m afraid.
I’m looking for a couple of volunteers to read my Battle of Britain novel, chapter by chapter, and let me know what they think/suggestions/changes etc by e-mail.
I do this to see what enthusiasts and general public might think of it – see if it grabs their attention!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ian, that’s OK, I’ll still send you what I have, but I think I have enough victims… err, volunteers for now!
PM me your e-mail address and I’ll forward it on to you.

Dazz,
I’ve not had time to post earlier, and it looks like you have all the volunteers you need. However, if it’s any help I live in Peelbes but work in the Chambers Street museum in Edinburgh, so if you wanted I could have a look without you having to spend a fortune mailing a manuscript. Of course, you may well be e-mailing a file, so distance won’t be a problem. Anyway, just in case local help is any use, if I can be of assistance, do let me know.

lol…
Anyway, I think you three should do fine for now.
Feel free to discuss it on this thread 🙂

Well, as I always enjoy a good read, I’m really into the Battle of Britain, and I’ve already spotted that you’ve spelt ‘chapter’ as ‘chaper’ in your second sentence, I guess I might be able to help you!!! 🙂
Seriously, I’d be more than happy to give it a read for you.
Cheers
Willow

Don’t do as I do, do as I say. 🙂

Well you can still volunteer to read it! 😉

I was going to volunteer as spelling mistakes and the like tend to jump off the page at me but as Janie’s a professional I’m a bit superflous.

Daz
Count me in. I proof read for a living and can do the punctuation, but, more importantly, I have a friend who lives and dies for BoB and Spitfires. I’ll get him to read it too.
I’ll send you a PM before the end of the day.

All you need to do is send me a private message or e-mail me with your e-mail addresses, then I’ll send it on from my normal address to let you all have a look.
This OK with you all?
