Seattle!! Bar hopping and plenty of night clubs; fishmarket and salmon festival; mild winters and protected waters; and for being a mayor US city it’s quite pedestrian freindly.

The Twin Cities and Chicago are very appealing too, I doubt I would like the winters there, though.

I haven’t been to too many US cities, but to the ones i been to.. I would say it’d have to be a tie between Torrance and Santa Monica, both in southern California. Irvine is pretty nice too.

That is bizzarre! 😀

Lexington, Kentucky for it’s rolling hills and nice people.

New York, New York. The city so nice they named it twice. There’s a lot to do and it has really cleaned up in the last 10-15 years.

That´s easy. New Orleans and Washington. The first beacuse it has personality, resambles to europe, deep Spanish roots, it´s warm, typical and charming. Full of music and feeling. And Washington as a perfect example of how a rational captial should be. Wide, big, large and no skyscreppers smart and imperial.

For some bizzare reason, my favourite US city is Detroit. Its mostly due to the sister sister impact.

Never been to the States, but what I gather from TV and other media, I would say New York. Totally different from anything we have in Europe, so if I would go to the States, it would be the place to visit.

San Diego

Pros:

1. Climate like the French Rivera

2. Beautiful city, Balboa Park, Zoo, Sea World, Wild Animal Park

3. L.A., Los Vegas, Mexico within driving distance, Avalon within sailing distance.

4. High concentration of young people

5. The Pacific Fleet

Cons:

1. Used to be home to Top Gun. No longer fightertown, USA.

2. Food is Mexican and seafood, could use more ethnic diversity.

3. Crazy religious stations all over the radio.
