Scheduled flights to the Red Sea Riviera
April 22, 2005
British Airways franchise partner, GB Airways, will start direct flights from London Gatwick to Sharm El Sheik and Hurghada on the Egyptian Red Sea Riviera from October 22, 2005.
Flights will operate three times a week to Sharm El Sheik and twice a week to Hurghada.
John Patterson, GB Airways’ managing director said: “We are delighted to start these flights to Sharm El Sheik and Hurghada. As the first UK airline to operate scheduled services to the Red Sea Riviera, I am confident that many customers will welcome the opportunity to fly direct and in comfort with a world renowned full service airline.”
All flights offer a choice of Club Europe and Euro Traveller cabins with complimentary food and drinks and more legroom than many other carriers.
British Airways flies from London Heathrow to Cairo and franchise partner BMED flies to Alexandria.
Special discounted all-inclusive return fares of £199 are available to book until May 27, 2005. Year round all-inclusive Euro Traveller return fares start at £259 and Club Europe return fares start at £499.
