Pax 707 on fire in Iran

One of the last remaining passegner 707s (One of 3 I believe) has caught fire in Tehran. No casualties reported.

Officials said all but one child were accounted for. The child died, the official IRNA news agency said based on eyewitness accounts.

IRNA said the child who died jumped from the plane into the river. It said many passengers broke arms and legs after jumping from the wreckage because emergency chutes failed to function.

Oh my that is very sad news if it’s true 🙁

EDIT: BBC News seem to be telling the same story about the child……
