This is us landing on 03 at Carrickfinn, Donegal, in one of the Malinair Islanders. You can see how much we are crabbing into the crosswind, and if you look carefully you might see the windsock just to the left by the perimeter fence showing the extent of the crosswind! A good 90 degree-er.

And here is Luton. The Granada came belting round the corner to be suddenly confronted by a red light …. and an islander crossing!

No, this one saw the target on the roof of the house and scored a bullseye. Fortunately no fatal injuries.

Ouch! But how do you crash an islander ? They just want to stay in the air. It must have hit a hillside in low visibility or the likes.
