Hi all:
Had half an hour at Bristol last tuesday at sunset:
Titan 146
Southwest Dash 8
Various Squeezy jets

A puddle jumper
A Ryanair coming in on a full emergency landing with no flaps

then the sun set and it was back to the motorway home
Now from Glasgow:
Been getting some Hungarian and Czech reg’d Saabs in on cargo duties lately, one below
Finally a few from today, heavy fog all morning, clearing up to a lovely sunny (but misty) day, sat all day to get a decent sun shot of a Farnair Beech 1900 (first in fleet i believe)only to realise when i got home the camera settings were all wrong.
Farnair Beech 1900
KLM Fokker 70
KLM Fokker 70 racing a fire engine
Nice wee Commander 114
John Lennon losing the head!!!
Daft arty shot of a Globey 737
That’ll do the noo…

Thanks lads
The RYR was circling overhead for a couple of times before making it’s approach, it just looked like a normal speed landing, did notice the airbrakes deployed before hitting the deck, and, it touched down very sharp… not long after the piano keys and the reversers deployed sharp too. A great job by the crew to make it really a non event thankfully.

Great sunset shots from Bristol, great catch on the RYR emergency, any idea what was wrong apart from flaps up? I belive that is one of the old 738’s that FR have.

Some really great shots, I wonder what the final approach speed for that RYR was? Interesting to see he had the slats deployed which probably reduced his final approach speed slightly.
All the best
