Some nice shots there. Pity I don’t see such varied traffic on my frequent visits up there.

As for the runways, it’s more often than not the 27s in use, with one used for landings, the other for takeoffs, with a switchover at 3.00pm. The 09s have been in use a fair bit recently though, with no switchover – 9R for takeoffs and 9L for landings. That was the case on Sunday and again today.

Great catch on the RJ310 cargo and the MAS 744 too! Nice work! 🙂

Thanks for the kind comments, chaps. 🙂

When I heard the Malaysian call up then looked through my scope and saw the bright red nose, I was grinning from ear to ear like a maniac. 😀

Fantastic Lance,
They are all top class images but if I had to have a favourite it would have to be the Malaysian.

You do take a wonderful shot…i saw that Malaysian 744 Hibiscus in Melbourne just last week and it certainly is striking in the flesh so to speak

I’m surprised to see a Virgin A343 in the new scheme… I’d have thought they’d have left those til last, is it because it was previously in Virgin Nigeria colours or maybe a recent D check ?

Looks like 09s, so 09R for departures.

If not, 27L for departures until 1500.
