Why are forecasts of poxy weather always accurate?

And, finally, whoever rostered this aircraft to Manchester on a day like this must have a sense of humour…..

Enjoy….. 😀

Lance

You don’t happen to be at Manchester tomorrow morning do you? should be arriving about 8am, best get the air raid sirens ready & batten down the hatches 😉

Afraid not, mate,

I shall be earning a living, as usual. 🙁

No offence, but what kind of weather were you expecting in January…:D :diablo:

Some very good shots Grey, it certainly does go to show that quality far outweighs quantity!

I agree with James (Manston Airport) that the hybrid BMed/BMI A321 livery looks very nice!

I think your forecast, Deano, should differentiate between light and heavy precipitation.

Monday – Heavy Rain
Tuesday – Heavy Rain
Wednesday – Heavy Rain
Thursday – Heavy Rain
Friday – Really Heavy Rain
Saturday – Heavy Rain (but not as heavy as Friday)
Sunday – Heavy Rain

😀

Oh, and nice shots Lance, considering the rain.

Ermmmm, you forgot the wind factor…….lots of it with all the rain !

Lance, it’s because it’s easy to predict the weather in Manchester, you should know this by now

Monday – Rain
Tuesday – Rain
Wednesday – Rain
Thursday – Rain
Friday – Rain
Saturday – Rain
Sunday – Rain

😀

Nice shots Lance like the ex-BA/BMI A320 and the Spanair 😀

James

Close, James. It’s an ex-BMed A321. 😉

Thanks for the kind comments, chaps. 🙂

A very good question! And the Spanair in your shots has the cheek to be called “Sunlight”.

You where braver then I was. I did not go spotting today even though it is the last weekend for the Kaagbaan spot. I like your Braathens shot, did not know there will still planes around in Braathens livery. Thought they had all been repainted into SAS already.

Great shots there. Unfortunately, Heathrow wasn’t much better today, with 100% cloud cover all day, although not a spot of rain.

Sunlight… O, the irony!

You were very brave heading out today, Mr Casey. Very nice shots though nonetheless, as per usual!
