It appears that the US is quickly pulling its forces out of Saudi Arabia including the large Prince Sultan air base. Qatar will now be the main location for US forces in the Gulf, at least for now.
Can the US military pullout in Germany be far behind?
What about Turkey now that it has proven to be less than reliable politically and no longer required as a base for the
‘no fly zone’ in northern Iraq.

eventually in europe you’ll proable be left with the big bases in the UK (were relaibalbe enoguh and nice to stay at) and a huge transport base at Ramstein
but the need to keep f-16’s and a-10s in europe is questioanble
i would assume some stuff might get based permantly in afgansitan and iraq

I think it’s for the best to begin distancing from Saudi Arabia as the basing of US troops there has caused nothing for trouble on both sides.
Germany no longer needs US troops as the cold war is long over, and the German borders are now surrounded by new NATO countries.
Turkey.. they came under intense pressure from France and Germany not to submit to US troops, ultimately I feel that the Turks are still reliable allies to the US, one must not totally judge a country solely on one incident.
