Just thought that seeing as there’s news for most airports in the UK going around at the moment, I’d start a thread with STN news. When anything gets announced I’ll just post it on here.
Main news at the moment is Turkish Airlines introducing 5 weekfly flights to both Istanbul and Antalya, from June. Not sure on the aircraft type, most likely 738’s I would guess. This now means we have quite a number of flights operating to/from Turkey. KTHY already flies to Antalya, Dalaman and Izmir.

Ankara has very very few if any international flights. I cant think of anyone that goes there?

I see that there is no links to the Turkish capital, Ankara though…good news though for STN. I reckon the plane will be their new Airbus equipment.
