Again that law…

Apparently, Belgium will make many new friends in the future. An “Iraqi victims group” used that stupid universal competency law (you know, the one that permitted other groups to sue Sharon and Pinochet, to name 2) to assign ex US President Bush (Senior) for some people killed during II PGW…

And here we go again.

As usual, this will make titles in many media, this will disrupt political relations with the US, and so on. And NOBODY will be able to stop that, as the government has no right to intervene into the justice…

Also for info, some tree huggin’ politicians already claimed they were happy with that complaint. Bah, we have elections in May, and they will surely be kicked from government. 😉

On a sidenote, i also heard that, if a war against Iraq does begin without the authorisation of the US, “we” could forbid our airspace to US planes, and reguse that US convoys use “our” soil… I just cannot get what they want to achieve by that???

Yes Eric, i guess they are with too, but now I heard our “socialist party” (english translation = labour), backed this case…

Just as a sidenote, we have elections in 2 months.. So they have to bring themselves in the spotlight!

That would be a unilateral act against international law, Geforce. Surely you don’t want to be responsible for that… I guess you should go to the UN Security Council first, trying to settle this in a peaceful manner.

Good. I`ll stand outside with my SA-14. Let them fly over MY airspace.

Yes, our prime minister announced today that we would face our obligations, and thus, permit every transport on or over our soil. Finally some reason…

Frank

Apparently Belgium has backed away from it’s threat to deny the US use of Belgium airspace.

Regards

Sauron
